DoubleRollOvers is a solution to the age-old multiple rollOver issue in Flash. Without some sort of work-around, nested rollOver functions are disabled (including buttons) if a parent movie clip is also using rollOver functionality. This handy applet allows you to easily incorporate nested rollOver functionality in your Flash project! It's simple to implement with only the most basic ActionScript knowledge.

This utilizes flash 8 blending modes to make "pixie dust" appear bright and "sparkly". *designed for use with Flash 8, blending mode effects are not compatibile with previous versions, however the effect still works nicely in these older versions. Arch shape is fully customizable by editing well-commented actionscript.

Image Depth 1.0 allows layered photos or bitmap images to react to mouse movement with realistic, "3D-like" motion. There is no limit to the number of layers, and each layer is fully customizable. You may change the graphic file, position, motion limits and direction, and motion speed for each layer, individually. Layers contain movie clips that are drag-and-droppable into your own flash project! For layering effects, use transparent PNG files (I suppose a transparent gif would work, too, but PNGs are reccomended for quality transparency). This little applet is a simple drag and drop falling snowflake effect for your Flash projects! Either simply drag into your project and use as-is, or customize as much or as little as needed via well-commented actionscript. Includes support for the following: unlimited number of different falling objects (included are three individual snowflake objects), overall effect transparency, number of falling objects on screen at one time, object falling speed and speed random variance, wind speed, amount of random variance in object size, probability that objects will "flip" as they fall and "flipping" speed, object pendular motion during fall and degree of pendular motion, object rotation and rotation speed. This applet makes use of the Flash Tween class, so at this time, only Flash 8 is supported.

This banner is a simple solution for commercial websites that have any kind of sales, special offers, discounts etc. It reads product info from an XML file. It can run in random mode (displaying products in a random sequence), or in a normal mode (displays the products the in the order they are sorted in the XML). Here are the things that are set via XML for each product: - Image - Title and description for the product - Discount (main text in the star) - Sub text in the star (small text beneath the 25%, 75$ etc) - Star color - three available (red, pink, orange) but by editing a single movie clip, you can easily add more. - Link (where it leads to when clicked)

If you have a lot of content to preload, this gives your visitors something to do while they wait. Its a simple little game that they can play while the content loads. - By editing the movie clips, you can simply replace aliens and other visual elements with some of your own (client products dropping instead of aliens, balloons etc.) - Entire game/preloader is in a single movie clip. All you have to do is copy the whole_game movie clip to the first frame of your FLA's main timeline. No code adding is needed, not even a stop() to the first frame. Just drag and drop :) - The game will adjust to the width of the flash movie you are preloading (using Stage.width and Stage.height), so no need for adjusting dimensions

-The textfields (there are 2, one for the title and the other for the content) and scrollbar are in a single MovieClip, making it easy to move to more different FLAs. -The content textfield is HTML enabled, to enable adding images using the img tag (as seen in the preview) -In the first frame of the movie clip, all you have to do is set values for two variables, defining the height of the field and the source of data (XML file). The variables are explained in the code comments. In the XML you define the title text, and the content text. - The scrollbar is made of 2 graphic elements (handle and background) which are easily edited to visualy fit your application. You can add a nice animated effect to the scrollbar handle, the code is there, just change the tween animation to your liking (the preview has a soft glow-up animation)

Open this sample in browser and resize the browser window to different dimensions, you will get a full screen image with a floating pop-up window always presented in the center.

Displays images in a random order or in an order that you choose -Once you set the dimensions in FLA , almost everything else can be set up from the simple XML file( images, descriptions, does it display descriptions for images/banners, is it random, is it a link (for each image), how long does each image display etc.) -If you choose so, you can display a name/short description for each image loaded. If not, you just turn off the name display option in the XML
