This Perl script allows to backup whole directories and/ or MySQL and Oracle databases. The backups can be compressed with configurable packers and copied either via Filecopy or via FTP to an external backup system. Also backup generations are supported, the script maintains multiple backup versions on it's own. In addition wildcards can be used for both directories and MySQL systems, this allows i.e. ISP's to easily backup customer Webservers with only a few configuration settings. Perfect for Webservers or developers who want to have easy daily backups.
