Open source alternative to Microsoft Access verified

Developers who are unsure how to be extremely productive while harnessing web 2.0 technologies should look at WaveMaker. I personally have not seen such a well - designed web-based application tool with such a vibrant community of open source developers before.

WaveMaker made it extremely easy to build a web-based asset management application, especially compared to MS Access. We had the entire MS Access system ported and in production in 4 weeks of part-time work by one guy (me!).
