Outstanding HelpDesk System - And Getting Better !

I have been searching for over a year for a great helpdesk system, and I guess I've installed close to a dozen or more, both php and perl. PerlDesk takes the cake for quality, features, professional fit and finish, a very nice and receptive author, and a promising help forum. The code is open souce, the script is FREE, and the forum is going to get a ton of activity once the web community discovers this beauty. If you have been looking for a super useful and really clean helpdesk system for customer support, give this a go. It has tons of features, and the author seems to be eager to add even more useful features. I have seen scripts that cost hundreds, if not a few thousand, bucks that don't compare in features or quality. This is one of the great finds in scripting, and it pretty much solves the nagging issues associated with customer support. As far as I can tell, this script is OUTSTANDING. Kudos to the author!
Simple, straight forward, clean interface

I have been investigating a helpdesk type app for our business for sometime.. This one is right up there at the top of the list due to a simple, straight forward, and clean interface.. Users do NOT want multiple screens full of confusing info.. Perldesk would meet the needs of most company's IT departments. The email interface is a bonus..

With a little more maturity this script and its developer are going to be one hot item.
I definately recommend this script and can easily give it an excellent rating for the script itself, the support and to John who definately is open and willing to listen to his users.
I looked at many different options but for the price and what you get, PerlDesk beats many other products.
Give it a go and you'll see what I mean.

This is a great piece of software.
Being in a hosted environment where my options are limited
(no unix shell, chroot'ed setup), I was not hopeful that
I could find what I needed.
PerlDesk did it all, and only took me a few hours to get
up and running in my limited environment.
Additionally, perldesk maintains a very active forum, and the author answers questions personally.
If you need a simple interface for your customers to submit
requests and have them tracked, look no further.

For my company we have tried many so called help desks. I can't say enough good things about Perldesk. It is absoulutly the best product on the market. Great features, support and price. Many thanks to John the Help Desk Guru.

We installed Perldesk last year and have been using it happily ever since. We've looked at other solutions, but to date we haven't found anything that combines its features. Of course there is still room for improvement, but only a small bit!
