When I first started working with this product I had some doubts that it was going to work out. But after questioning the support team about some self made issues I found this product to be exactly what I needed. I highly recommend it. Very worth the money.

+) We are using it in production and it is helping us improving our time to market KPI. The mobile telecom market is very competitive and time to react to market change is a key success factor.
-) The Export to excel/csv is not working well for us when the table is big (more than 500K rows for instance)
-) Conditional selection seems to be missing. Example: on the "quick search", when value X is selected for field A then the selection in the field B will display only values related to value X

About the issues you are experiencing:
1) CSV: have you tried to increase the PHP maximum execution time?
2) Quick search by default use the AND operator but you can change it if you want (write a support request on the forum and we will explain how)
3) DaDaBIK 6 will also allow to use AND/OR operators for a field during a search, simply typing the operator in the textbox (e.g. "apple OR banana") :)

An excellent solution for publishing data from a mySQL database. No coding required.
Great forum and support (even for a minor error caused by an old php-version on my webserver, they found a workaround very fast).

Does not work out the box for PG - requires hacking and nonsense just to get halfway (eg, does not correctly populate public tables from the db schema, etc). Then issues such as auto-use of primary keys does not work.
This is quite unfortunate since you have to *pay* for this script, it *looks* great, and it almost delivers, but not quite.

Hello Henry, DaDaBIK does not require any hacking to work as you can see from the (old but still useful to get the basic ideas) youtube video tutorial or from the great amount of comments you can find on the Web. If you had specific problems with your installation or you found a bug please write on the support forum and we will help you.

Even if you can program in PHP with MySQL, DaDaBik saves an imense amount of time. And for novices, it requires no knowledge of programming to implement a tight and efficient database front end.

It's open source which is a good start. It handles basic database tasks very well. What does it need? It needs better security and a more flexible user permissions model for starters. After that, better data input validation. Just a bit more work and it will be an excellent database application tool.

Have you ever used the filter by form tool in MS Access? Well this is it for MYSQL. I needed a tool to generate results by simple query and it does the job! Many thanks to the developers. The best part is that it was so easy to setup.
