Honestly! There is that old saying, "you get what you pay for". Thats no lie because "free" isn't necessarily so when it comes to your time and frustration. Josh, and Big Medium, saves you both. What I like best is that BM allows you to manage unlimited pages and domains from one account! Without messing around with database systems and their own quirks. No multiple license dings if you're running many domains, like myself, from one primary account. All around a solid five star winner!

I've been using Big Medium for about 2 years now and I'm still amazed at the features. Josh certainly knows his stuff and is the consummate professional. Always very quick and helpful with any questions. Notice I didn't say technical support because there haven't been any problems.
Big Medium is Best CMS

Best CMS! After evaluating and using free and commercial ($200-$800) CMS programs, none comes even close to Big Medium ($129). Nontechs operate/maintain/edit our website with ease & fun, giving us a voice on a domain previously limited to tech-savvy folks. But BM is not limited to nontechs, webmasters can use all the html and codes they want to build or change the site as desired. Most CMS have similar list of features, but BM�s list continually expands with new features offered in response to client suggestions whereas other programs will make you pay for separate software. Have a question: Check out the over 300 pages of documentation/manuals, the help functions in the admin panel, the support forums, or ask Josh - He often answers so quickly that you�d think you sent an IM. The developer Josh is prodigious, impeccably professional, cost-efficient, user friendly, client-oriented, and his demeanor is highly personable, generous, respectful and oozing with patience. None of the top commercial CMS programs offer the features, ease of use, flexibility & expansion capability, detailed manuals, support or service provided by BM. Only difference, and we found out the hard way, is that other programs charge hundreds of dollars more. In short, it�s not likely that you will outgrow BM.
Clear and Easy

In my never-ending search for a better way to manage our site I have been flirting seriously with various software products for over a year, but have never gotten beyond the frustration stage. Too many developers seem unable to accept that some of us really don't know coding and computer languages well enough to use their software with confidence. Big Medium's support and clear, plain English documentation are major selling points!

So glad I found this software. I work for a small museum-tour business -- the owner and the guides are art people, not at all technical. Even so, after I put our site www.parismuse.com onto Big Medium, they were all hooked. The owner has even started a kind of arts magazine within the site. The software makes it easy for her to post text, images, even syndicate her content. As a part-time webmaster, it saves me the trouble of getting called in to do minor updates, and for them, the ease of updating their website has enabled them to turn the site into a real marketing vehicle.

After almost 3 months of searching for a tools and almost going to on of the PHP Nuke type products I found this Big Medium. Set up is so easy even a new website beginer could have this up and running in no time. Excellent support and most of the features you would ask for in a portal. Great documentation. A multitude of Features and brilliant support from the developers. I converted a 1300 page website and my life is much easier. The best value for your money.
Great for everyone, including non-techies

I used Big Medium to set up one of my client websites (www.promenadesgourmandes.com), and the owner of the site -- who is maybe the least technically confident person I know -- has no problem using it to add webpages and edit the site content. Great interface, very easy -- couldn't be simpler to maintain and build a site. I plan to use Big Medium for all the sites I build from now on. Clients love the idea of getting a site that they can update themselves. Saves them money and saves me the (non-lucrative) hassle of fixing their website typos for them.
Multiple sites are cool

One of Big Medium's best features is its ability to manage multiple websites. Haven't seen this feature in any other content management systems in this price range. For one price, I can host/manage/update as many websites as I want. In addition to my business site, I use Big Medium to run my church site and the local arts council site. Very easy to add new sites. And even the older church ladies have been able to use it to add notices to the church site (if that's not a sign of great software usability, I don't know what is!).

A great deal, highly recommended. I was reluctant at first to spend money on a content management system, since there seemed to be so many free ones around. Turns out "free" is a relative term -- all of the free ones I tried (and some of the paid ones, too) had difficult configuration settings, unsatisfying results and no support to speak of. So I shelled out my money for Big Medium, and I'm extremely happy with the results. Easy to install, easy to use, easy to customize. Personally, I don't think they charge enough for what this software does. Outperforms other content management systems that sell for much more.
