Light, easy to install and just works.
Only problem, when the PHP upload limit is too low it will just say that the upload failed so you have to check the PHP error log

This is the best file manager out there. It seems to be able to do everything I need. My only gripe is that there is authentication system so anybody could use it.
Simply simple with installation! Simply Excellent in functionality!

You cannot find anything simplier than this script. Only one PHP file does it all! A MUST HAVE if you have a Linux and need a web-based file manager. The only configuration you need is to figure out the htaccess yourself.
Amazingly powerful for such a simple script.

You can use this script to allow guest access to a particular directory. For example, if you want to allow a guest homepage to be created in one single directory without giving that person a password or FTP access. You can limit access to only the directory in which webadmin.php is in by changing the $treeroot variable from "/" to "./" Note: you might have to change permissions on the directory before this script will work properly. The default permissions did not work but when I changed them to 777 (755 might also work) everything was fine. This detail is not documented on the script's homepage.
