$5 for a chat room - what's the catch?

Being the admin of an IPB site, I was looking for a reliable chat room which integrated with my existing SQL database. I tried a variety of chat rooms, none of which worked correctly, so decided to stump up $5 & give FlashChat 3.9.1.4 a try.
For $5 you get a flash-based chat room which is highly customisable. Admittedly, my first attempt at installation went awry due to slightly misleading installation instructions, but I now have an excellent chat room for virtually no money.
