EMS MYSQL Manager did the job and more. As a complete novice it provided step by step instructions on how to create a table, add fields, enter data and even import data from the likes of access, excel and CVS files. It is so easy to use and friendly. It is the software to use. With a little bit of understanding I was writing sql statements within a very short while. If you have to pay for any anything then I fully recommend MySQL Manager for novices and pro's alike.
