I've looked around and have tried many autoresponders and I gotta say, Infinite Responder has it ALL!!! The big boys have an Elite Rival and IR is hands down, the BEST AR thus far.

This script kicks ass! It hasnt been updated in a while, so there are a few changes/fixes that need to be done to make it work right. There is a comment, third or fourth from the top, that tells everything you need to do.
After that you will have an autoresponder that rivals the Big Boys! I cant express enough how happy I am with this script!
I just wish I could get in contact with the guy that made this, I'm sure this could be even easier to set up by now if he is even updating at all. Dude, if you read this please email me: garyATgarystenzelDOTcom

This script works better than some high paid services. E-mails get delivered to my inbox, and not spam when I subscribe.
It is mean fro those who have a bit of web savvy experience, but this helped me out huge.
I am buying the license to support the project and will donate a few bucks once in a while upon upgrades, if I like the upgrades I get.

Just downloaded and installed this script and am very impressed. The installation is simple as long as you know how to create a database and user in cpanel, but one comment for anyone struggling with it: The database tables are for an earlier version of mysql, so after uploading you may find you get an error message on your home page refering to incorrect syntax. The solution will take about 5 minutes. Simply go to your script directory and open the file named defs.sql At the end of every table you'll see: TYPE=InnoDB CHARACTER SET utf8;
Wherever you see the word TYPE change it to read ENGINE.
Apart from that it's easy to install, easy to use and easy to customise. Brilliant little script!

The infinite responder script is top-notch.They are definitely giving away a valuable program.I installed it last week for my site.I had windows hosting,I switched over to linux hosting in order to get crontab functionality,Program will run with windows hosting,but all of your sends will have to be manual,far as I could tell.The infinite responder has an auto-call feature for new subscribers to your list,which means,that auto-send does work that much,which is terrific.
I donated $29.95 to them because I think that this program is too good to just give away.I would charge that much if I were selling it.When you consider how much autoresponder services cost,the infinite responder is a very valuable tool,that will save anyone ALOT of money.

This infinite responder script is excellent.
If you want to set up your crontab,you have to have Linux hosting,otherwise you can manually call sendmails through the blast function,but no automated sends other than new subscribers,which has an auto-call to sendmails.I switched over from windows hosting to Linux but have not set up my crontab yet.At my site,I don't have the traffic yet to require alot of auto-runs.I just made a donate to the infinite responder site,they are giving away a top-notch product.I cannot recommend it highly enough for the service it performs.When you consider how much autoresponder services sell for You will quickly see why it is much better to just do your own.Thanks,jjjohn.

I'm no expert, so found it rather difficult to install, and even harder to get it running the way I wanted, but it was well worth the effort. I don't really need an autoresponder at the moment, but when I do I've done all the hard work, and will be able to set a list up with this script very easily. For somebody really struggling to set it up, I think it would be worth the $30.00 fee for setup, when you consider how much it costs to subscribe to something like Aweber.

This is pretty easy to install if you already know how to set up a data base and edit a php file (and I do). Also, it provided the best explaining of cron job syntax that I have come across so far. I'm definitely going to donate when have some extra cash because I just can't commit to aweber at this time. BTW... it's not up-to-par visually but any technically savvy person can tweak it to their liking (as I plan to do),

Set up instructions were simple and easy to follow. Using the program was a cinch. It does require basic knowledge of how to set up a database, but aside from that its simple. If that is too much he offers a low cost (only $30) installation.

I stumbled a bit in the install, But I love the program, easy to use.
In less than 10 mintues after you install it, you can have a email campaign up and running.
