Composr CMS is by far the best, on delivering a complete system. you can do almost anything with it. I dont thing it requires any external plugins , as everything is included.

I like the built-in rating and comment system for blogs or articles module. I am now not depend on any third party plugin to get such feature. Since the functions available built-in, I am able to manage the site my myself.

Composr CMS is one of the CMS products I shortlisted for my website. My site is now up is built over WordPress. But I must say Composr is a decent platform and worth to have a look during evaluation. This has potential.

Our recent web development projects have been built over using the Composr CMS as base framework. The advantage we had were in the form of reduced working hours in setting up a forum based website. I recommend others to have a try.

It took sometime for me to get familiar with Composr CMS. I like the feature packages available by default with the CMS, otherwise would have been required to install third party plugins if I chose WordPress.

I was introduced to Composr CMS by the web developer, I hired for setting up my site. I initially planned to have WordPress for my site. He convinced me to use Composr. The site is stable and there aren't any serious issues so far.

I find Composr CMS is versatile, secure and user friendly. My tech literacy is low, the video tutorials and documentation available in their official website guided me to understand this CMS implementation. The highlight is, most popular CMS features are available by default.

I didn't had much expectation on Composr CMS before evaluating. I was surprised to find forum, gallery, file download and banner ad features are available by default.
The excited part is I was able to configure the features by myself without much help from a web developer.
I am delighted at the bundle of features available in Composr.
In my opinion, the one area where Composr has to improve is its default theme.

I am not a hardcore web developer. I wish to achieve my objectives with less coding. I did the hunting for a CMS that would offer me the core CMS functionality by default without depending on any third party plugins, responding to the reported security vulnerabilities, functions beyond blogs, like forum, chatroom and e-commerce. My site is now based on Composr CMS. Most of the features are configurable for non coders making thus saved considerable web development time other than visual designing.

I have used Joomla to build my third website flashchain.com.Joomla is great but you have to look for components, modules and plugins to meet the needs. ocPortal is entirely new concept about web creation and management. No need for numerous extensions, or try and see workarounds. Because it is all in package, it requires some learning which can be achieved in less than 4hours in admin backend.

All the other CMS systems I tested were full of bug, version conflicts and missing features.
ocP came with everything, it works well and installing was a breeze.
The Admin pages come with built in wizards and task related tutorials.
Overall the best CMS I have tested.

The insallation an set up help on your site are very well explained in the step by step instruction. I used your automated upload ftp to my server root. This gives me a lot of confidence in the quality of the product. I will be setting up a art gallery and will keep you posted. Just good to know people like you. who care.

I have been using OCP since 2005, when you had to buy a license. The script can be used "right out-of-the-box", which is great for beginners. The customization options are almost limitless. That makes it a great script to use as your knowledge, and needs, grow. The support is second to none.

I was looking for something that did everything phpBB did but more. This does way more. if Forums + Newsletters + a Reward System that gives people incentives to post are what you are looking for then this script fits the bill. It's harder to learn then WordPress, but easier then Drupal or Joomla. I can only describe this CMS as a wolf in sheep's clothing. On the surface it appears to be quite basic, but once you delve into the inner workings there's a lot of features that is going to make managing your online community so much easier.

After a long time of trying varying CMS i found Ocportal and have never looked back. No longer do i need to look through endless directories of components or addons which don't seem to work right or integrate properly. Everything i needed was available within ocportal without needing to search for them. The features i don't want? i just turned them off.

ocPortal is FREE!
The release of version 4.x.x saw ocPortal make its way into 'opensource' and that, simply put, is a wonderful addition for those that want a CMS that can do just about anything you want. And a few things you didn't know could be done.
The synopsis for the product says it all, and as a user of the engine, both paid and free, I cannot recomment it highly enough!

I have been building websites for about 9 years now and have come across many good CMS scripts, many times I found my self limited with what I could do with most scripts be it the script not able to support my wants or limited support for the script.
This is not the case with ocPortal I have been using it for 5 months and would not change it for any reason there is so much that can be done with this script and if you need help all you need do is go to their forum. I have received help in Minutes

I've been jumping around Joomla!, Mambo, and such CMS's, even the other non-common CMS's via Google, but this beats them all to the ground. It very complex, yet very east to modify the template, and it's PHP coding. All you need is a bit of knowledge of the languages, and you are ready to make an excellent website with the hand of ocPortal. I recommend it to everyone with a buisness, to personal reasons. If your a PHP developers, it would be good buisness to make some Add-Ons for this product!$$

I have tried may cms/portal software and was left dissatisfied and sometime confused. but not with OcPortal. It is easy to install and the support is fast and informative. There are very good security controls and many options in the admin zone/control panel. If you want something that you can use right out of the box without having to add a lot of addons, then OcPortal is for you. It is reasonably easy even for beginners.
You deserve the best - ocPortal deserves your consideration.

Probably the most complete CMS package I've used. There are some omissions, but you soon learn to live with that, especially when you discover what IS available out of the box
You have to think laterally, but the first thing that strikes you is how secure the package is, how flexible the layout becomes when you become familiar with it, and how satisfying it is to get 'almost instant' support from the team.
Highly recommended. You won't regret it.

I am even making a fan/ support site for it.
I mean it is the best CMS I have seen and believe me I tested a lot, even most of the ones on this site.
ocPortal has all the features I need and more much more.
The support on thier site is great and fast. When you report a bug they come out with a fix very quickly. I should mention if you have a problem and having trouble, they will help you out to the best of thier ability. The owner even went to the effort of logging into my site & fixing it.

Although there are many content management systems that have received a great deal more attention than ocPortal, few of them can best this excellent script. With the most recent release (version 2.62), ocPortal is faster than ever, and boasts a massive array of built in features. OCP provides you with you own forum, blog, wireless access tools, feedback and ticket system, statistics, and so much more. Go and compare OCP to its competitors; I'm glad I did....
