Great Potential, More Work to be done

I have bought the product for my company in order to use it for a bigger project.
The reasons I chose it over the competition were:
1) Nice, simple and user-friendly design that uses AJAX.
2) Presence of many key features of much more expansive applications.
3) Reasonable price.
4) Chat and tel. support as well as email support which was not blazing quick, but mostly available.
I do not like "poisoning wells" and certainly wish the company to advance and succeed in the market providing quality products for lower prices and creating competition that is always at customer's advantage. Yet, I must regretfully state that PG Newsletter has some way to go before it becomes really useful. My company decided to abandon the entire project only because this product had many (and I mean many) bugs, which were fixed by their support, but were ongoing and some required custom development, which is not cheap. The main stumbling block was uneasiness of importing the mailing list into the system. I am not syaing it cannot be done, but even cheaper scripts do not have so much hassle with it and it is definitely not easy thing to do (formatting and converting files to fit script's requirements, no report on which emails were filtered and why, etc.
The bottom line is: it is a great script that has on my opinion huge potential, but the company that sells it has to polish it and make it simple and working with no bugs before putting it on the market. I would not even hesitate to pay for it twice more if it worked as I wish it did. But it's not there yet. If you have time, patience and some extra money for customizing this script, you may want to give it a shot. If you want simple to use, finished and polished product, it is not it yet.

As for the previous feedback, we provide free updates/upgrades with 1 year, after 12 months expire you will need to pay to be eligible for updates/upgrades within next year. There are no hidden, monthly or annual fees. You pay for the script once and you can use it as long as you want with free lifetime support assistance provided.
Very bad customer service

The software installed with very little issues and then the bugs started popping up. We contacted support and much like the other comments here, were told to just wait an update was on the way. We purchased in November of 2008 and after over a year of waiting they finally released a new version this month. When we followed the link to request our update we were told that our year of free updates were up and we would have to pay. They did not provide one single update during the FREE year despite many requests and bug reports. If you want a product that will be supported after you plop down your hard earned money, look elsewhere. Don't be fooled by their "user references" and promises to stand behind their product or you will be stuck like us with bugs and no updates. Buyer be warned!
Terrible Product

I had the same experience as the member 'theself' above. Slow responses. After 5 weeks, I still don't have a properly working product. Pilot Group have fixed some of the errors with their software, but there are still more.
They refuse to give a refund stating that they will fix the new problems, but considering a Christmas special offer was supposed to go out 3 weeks ago, this has cost my client lost revenue, and made me look bad to my client.
Purchase at own risk, as you won't get a refund.

You have great Live Chat and support on chat, great website, interesting products, and additional services. You still have updating your products making them better. Trial versions helped me to make decision and buy script.

I paid for the script a week ago. I send them multiple emails -- but no one replied. Their phone numbers don't work; can't get no human voice to talk to after repeated attempts. This is NOT acceptable!
Contacted my bank to fild a dispute.
