CRE Loaded - Commercial Ecommerce Software Reviews and Testimonials

I have used many flavors of osCommerce throughout the years and overall CRE Loaded is one of the better ones. The code will always be a disaster area as that is what happens when you cram a bunch of user contributions together. It offers features above and beyond the stock osCommerce configuration but be prepared to invest some time if you are using the Standard (free) version. I think CRE has a winning business model going here if they make the right steps. For free you can't ask for much more!

I have been shopping for a cart for months now, comparing all the features, digging into forums, speaking with sales and support, and I have finally decided to go with CRE Loaded. CRE Loaded has all basic shopping cart features, includes many great add-ons by default, and is able to integrate with some great third party order processing systems such as M.O.M. (Mail Order Manager) and Stone Edge's Order Manager.

This version of Cre Loaded has got to be the owrst release to date. "Out-of-the-box" can not be used to describe a shopping cart that has countless bugs, payment modules that do not work. 6.2 should not have been made public nor should they have charged for code that is in such poor condition. I think the complaints in the Cre Loaded forums is a perfect clue to this carts condition.
