Good component for any website.

I purchased Jamit job board a number of years after doing research on job boards in Asia. I looked at other sites using the same program and found them suitable.
After installing the component, it was somewhat difficult at first for a novice website developer. The man who wrote the software quickly responded to my inquiries which I liked. When I had an issue with the component, he would be quick to respond and was quick to resolve the issue.

have support ticket still open after 1 week with no response. installed/reinstalled product multiple times with success, however once the initial config file is saved (in order to change the admin password) the software breaks.
apparently this is the only place you can get a response from the support team.
course the best part is "You are entitled to a refund only if you did not download the software yet."
so you have to be clairvoyant - well here is a tip - spend your $200 elsewhere
Jamit is all you need to know !

I�ve played with more than two dozen jobboards over the last few years and none met my standards and requirements, except Jamit. Jamit does literally everything I want it to, with scalability and flexibility build in that other products are just now beginning to learn how to do. Not only that, users can do anything the board is capable of doing from a non-technical interface. After nearly 3 weeks of heavy tweaking and testing it has never stalled or crashed. BTW it costs 1/10 what others do.

We have been using Jamit software for our online recruiting Jobs board for over a year and a half. The developer of the software assists whenever upgrades are required and goes over and above to assist with any support queries. The software is continuously being upgraded with innovative features. It is truly a reliable and tested application.

After I first installed the script I found myself in 2 hours adding new fields and changing questions very easy. Support is done in a timely fashion. Currently no Zend or any from of protection on the php files allowing you to expand quite easy and not depending on the company which is a GREAT PLUS! I am sure this script will climb in price and will not be at the great buy it is now. Many famous sites made there money job sites. If you have thought about it. GRAB IT NOW!

I e-mailed these guys and never heard back! I waited a week for a response and in the end decided to go with another vendor. If there pre-sales support is this bad, imagine their technical support. Stay away!

I bought the script a year ago as a very basic beginner and I can only tell you that the customer service is more than excellent. Support for the script, photoshop, tips on advertising etc. Anything I was asking I was getting an answer even if it had nothing to do with their program. They listen to customer regarding improvment and modifications and respond very fast, within 24 hours. If you need a good script, that's the one to get.

The software does 99% of what i wanted. Service is excellent, Adam usually reply to support within 24hrs.. Overall excellent value for money, i would not hestitate to recommend it to others.

Bad for search engines

I bought this script a while ago and made a BIG mistake. The script works, but google doesn't craw the site.
google works on popularity but it will not read each ad in this software package.
Big problem... you just need to check sites that use jamit software, they have a really poor popularity in Google

No, not true. Because of the clean design, the job board is favored very strongly by both Google, MSN and Yahoo. There is also ability to define custom meta data for each category. Plus there is extra support for Apache's Mod_Rewrite module if you are a SEO buff.
Unstable and unusable software

The is by far the worst software package I have ever used. Clearly, this company does not care about their customers after they have their money. I bought the software and tried to install it myself. The installation process was full of bugs, and I was unable to continue. I contacted support, and it took them 5 days to respond back to me. The response I received was terse and unhelpful. I emailed the company back asking for a more detailed description, and had to wait for about 3 days to receive a response.
After weeks of bouncing back emails, I was finally able to install the software. Not suprisingly, once installed, I experienced even more problems. They blamed everything except their software, which clearly only runs on their servers. I have contacted my credit card company to reverse the charges on my card. I would recommend doing business with a company like this.

This is a fake review. The software was just released under version 2.0, and we had only sold 2 licenses of the job board at the time, and we knew both customers well. The review is written by someone we do not know. It only leaves us to believe that the review was left by a competitor.
Fantastic Support and Solid Product

I initially had a minor problem with my SQL database when I first installed the Jamit Job Board, but the support I received was fantastic. Within several hours, my site was up and running with no problems or glitches. I made some suggestions on product improvements and the company quickly responded with details of future releases and upcoming product enhancements. I was impressed with the outcome of my purchase. Not sure what happened to the other person who wrote the negative review, but I can only say positive things about the company and the product. Keep up the good work and I look forward to future releases!
