Great but more templates would be nice

This is a fantastic script for making image galleries. It does what I says and is great. The only downside is the lack of templates or the ability to customize them, so you are left with little creative choices unless you are lucky enough to know about those types of things. I searched the net and found next to no plogger themes.
Other than that it is awesome and highly recommended if you want this feature on your website.
Very good!

I downloaded current version - Beta 3.0. It is still a bit buggy, but I quickly fixed it. Rating a gallery software is always a matter of your taste. I like Plogger very much. ZIP upload feature is very nice, themes also! I miss only rating of images, but this is not a crucial thing. Management is very usable. And the code is easy to understand if you need your own modifications!

I have spent probably a year looking for simple easy to integrate image gallery for my site.
Found it here but having the odd problem and the support forum is very quiet with usually only the odd guest and any posts either do not get replies or you wait days.

I tried plogger when Gallery2 got out of control. all in all this is a great album. The remote stuff (f-spot support) is not ready as stated in the docs. Other then that this is really good stuff. I can not wait to see were this goes. I have been using it for 3 weeks now and only complaint is the remote support. Give it a shot, if you tried of how BIG gallery2 is you will love this. Clean and Simple. Good work!! I gave it a 4 for lack of Remote (f-spot) support. Cheers
Good gallery for small needs

First of all, this gallery do most things it is supposed to do. It is meant to be simple and easy to use. This is the part I really like about it. The upload is BY FAR the best I have seen in ANY gallery. But it is not usable for big galleries due to the lack of support for IPTC. I would not even think about retyping title and description for several thousand pictures! And there is no support for multiple users, protected folders or watermarking. This said, it is probably the best simple galler
I like It

Nice script, but I'm not sure about the way you mixed the presentation with the business logic. Try using a template engine, so it can be integrated to a website or cms as a module or componen. And a quick question, why not using LGPL licence? Looks great, well done.
There is power in simplicity

The simple web-based installation and professional design are impressive. I also liked the option of uploading images by web form or ftp. The administration is clear and powerful, and the slideshow is slick.
However, there is no way to change the display order of albums besides finding and manually changing the sql (the default is by album name descending). Images can be ordered by name, date, etc. but there is no way to order them individually.
All in all a great product.
Amazing Functionality

This gallery script is undoubtedly the "definitive open source gallery". It is well coded and documented, easily customizable, and one of the first galleries to be entirely XHTML and CSS compliant, a huge bonus for any contemporary web designer/developer. The customizability of the script is limitless, and the power of CSS makes cosmetic changes a snap.
The dev team is amazingly helpful on their forums. With expected WordPress integration and more in Beta3, it really is time to download Plogger.
One of the best I have tried in recent time.

Installation was prompt and precise. In less than two miniutes one is up and running. At this stage if this application is of so much fun to use, I can assure it will mature to be a giant in the industry. Good work
to me its the #1 open source personal gallery script

I have already installed it on 3 of my sites and it just takes 5 minutes to install and call the gallery in the page layout. I used many other gallery scripts, some even paid ones but customizing to fit in the sites layout was never easy as with plogger. I say you should definitely try it. By the way, it costs you $00.00 for all this.
Did I forget to tell you? its very search engine friendly.
Good luck.

This free, simple yet powerful gallery content manager system is a joy to use. It isn't bloated and has most of the features that I require for my site. Being PHP and standards based made it easy to drop into my already existing site. The mass zip downloads, rss feeds, slideshows, auto generated thumbs, and etc. are great features to have around. Even thought Plogger is young in development life I have high hopes and welcome the future of this piece of software. I recommend to those that have tired to deal with the bloated gallery systems already out there, that want to try something new.
