First, any response that you receive from "support" is less words that a tweet on twitter. It rarely answers your question and forces you to wait another day or two for another equally unresponsive bland answer.
When setting up a"targeted list" of different categories i.e. different states or products you must recreate this targeted list every time you want to do a mailing.
Meaning, when you set up a targeted list that pulls information from your main list i.e. "Alabama" the list does not update, so anybody that signs up for your mailing list beyond the first mailing will not be included in the next mailing.
You have to go back into the mailing list, delete the old targeted list and recreate another one to update the people who have recently joined. I have fifty categories ... how many do you have?
Software Buggy - Unresponsive Support

I spent almost a year trying to get this script to run correctly and then they finally came out with and "upgrade" or bug fix which had to be started from scratch. I had attempt to import thousands of addresses but it would only import one at a time. They kept telling me the data I was importing had an extra line - not true. I asked them to import a bulk file - the could not. I NEVER heard from them again. If you have real email business needs find a script that has a community forum. lost$$$
Tech Support Pathetic

Useless support provided by this company. Online support terrible, check with your host, check with your host, check with your host, is what they love to say. Answers all evasive no conclusion or direction. My host knows nothing about a strange program (GoDaddy).
My program I loaded and have it working fine but one of the items (scheduling to mail) is not functioning. I am sure eventually it will, but the support from this comp, sucks.

Great Piece of Software!

When I purchased Omnistar Mailer I quickly realized that it is really a great piece of software. It has more features than most of its competitors and is actually more affordable. Once I installed it, I was easily able to import my mailing list and build my email campaign using one of Omnistar Mailer's built in HTML Templates. You really cannot go wrong with this software.

I recently purchased the Omnistar Mailer email mailing list manager software, and I must say it's one of the best purchases I have made in a while. The program was really easy to install and setup and I was even able to easily import my existing mailing list. Within an hour I had created my campaign and was ready to send out my email to my list! Based on this great experience I will be looking at the other solutions Omnistar provides!
Didn't work on my host

I bought Omnistar Mailer and spent a week working with their tech support to get it working. They had to make lots of tweaks just to get it to partially work. Finally, I just asked for my money back. The functionality seems pretty good but I didn't like the fact that it needed its own database to run (my host charges extra for more than one database and I was already running two scripts in one database). Also, although the tech support responded fairly quickly, they never really listened.
