Honest Company with Quality script

I am using from many years , service is nice, but they are very busy people and they do not help in customization, Truly speaking I asked many times but They say they dont have time for it,
Documentation is Lacking!
If they provide documentation that how a buyer who is not having technical geek, can build a new website by using their script, It will be best,
I am unable to understand how we can have different member types, I advise that they must build a very detailed handbook manual for all those who buy their script! over all 4 star out of 5.
None existent lifetime support ! verified

Have this script for several years but recently due to being spammed heavily had to close the site. Further investigation showed that the inbuilt antispam was not working anymore due to the fact that a third party IP site had changed their working policy and the script could no longer update it's banned IP list for free. Using VLD's claim of "lifetime support" thought I would ask for the new website link being used to upload the IP tables. Vlad's answer - "update the software and it should fix your problem" ! That's what they claim to be lifetime support...in other words pay more money. All I am asking for is a website link, just a little support. The guy talks as if I want a complete free version upgrade - madness, wouldn't waste your money if I where you.

Not sure why this person claims that our 'lifetime support' is false. Support is free for as long as you're our client and the person has been assisted to without being forced to pay anything as they have said so themselves. Of course if the issue they experience is related to the files that require updating, there's not much else we can suggest. They pointed out the problem - we offered a solution. Whether they decide to update their software files to resolve any possible issues or not is up to them.

I bought this script in 2011, with the name vldpersonals and paid $199. I also bought a template for additional $$. I don't remember when but they begun to suggest to migrate to the new version named datingscript. But I continued using the older version because the upgrade has to be paid (you have to renew your Commercial License renewal). In april of this year my site became under attack with thousands of visits and registrations. In a matter of two or three days I received over 20,000 new fake registrations and forced my host provider to shut the site down. The hosting company said "After reviewing your account I determined that the significant amount of traffic to the site xxxx.com was what caused the resource usage notice to be sent out.
The site had several thousand hits, mostly to the '/account/login/', '/account/home/', '/index.php?m=account_register', and '/index.php?m=account_register' pages. It appears that a botnet has been targeting the site and trying to generate registrations (most likely to post spam.).
I recommend implementing a stronger CAPTCHA and caching for the vldPersonals site that is running on this domain. " 24 hours later my hosting account was suspended and put al my sites off line.
I don't know what to think, but that was an awful situation that put me out of business. I am looking for a new script to migrate my users. The vldpersonals script was good but obviously not safe. Hope it helps !

The issue this person is referring to has been addressed a long time ago. They probably didn't update their site since the time they purchased the software in 2011. New features and updates are released on a regular basis and while not required, it's a good idea to keep up with the updates just like with most other web applications.

I wanted to share my experience with this product and company. I was using skadate before I found vldPersonals and when I reached 5 thousand users my site has become extremely slow and unresponsive. Since I couldn't get any support from skadate, I started looking for an alternative and luckily found vldPersonals. Their support is amazing. They answered all of my questions and helped me transfer all of my users. Their product has a lot of offer and is blazing fast. Now I'm running a site with over 70 thousand users without a hitch! Thank you.

I can't praise this package highly enough. It came with many features and was well structured code so that i was able to write my own modifications to get my sites exactly as I wanted them.
Only sometimes the documentation could be better, but its all there for you to read prior to purchase. The support forum makes up for any documentation issues(if you have any).
Any CMS will use more server resources than software written specificaly for one site but vld seems pretty lean compared to others I have used. My current server handles 500+ users online at anyone time.

I have just had to close my website down because of these guys! My problem was my website became to popular and because of this a lot of email notifications were generated, vld suspended my account and would not let me retrieve my files, after paying them $199! They completely stopped answering my emails and just totally ignored me, Vlad was some assistance but Nick was just rude! Please do NOT use this software, the only thing you can be sure of is that the will disappear with your money!!
VLD's closing comments = "If you think that being online makes you invincible - think again" how's that for customer service??

As the client has said it himself - he abused the hosting service (which is NOT even related to the software he purchased, we offer hosting for FREE as a bonus to the software purchase). His account was not suspended right away but only after he ignored the notifications. He then threatened with bad reviews to get his service back which of course didn't happen. I spent month in researches for a Dating Software which fits my expectations. VLD-Personals was one of the very few companies offering this kind of software to a fair price. I am a totaly newbie with anything related to server administration, changing codes or programming. BUT there is a really great forum where I got answers for any questions I had. The guy´s from VLD-Personals provide a superior Customer Service within their Client Area. Unfortunately it is only mail based but they answer very fast and are very helpful. As I mentioned, I am a newbie and have no glue about programming, I have VLD doing all the changes and updates to my two Softwares and am always satisfied with their work. On top of it..... they are very reasonable with their pricings for doing pretty much all requested changes or even customizings.
What more can you ask for?

For a little over two years now we are using vidPersonals. What a great Company! None of my Associates is Computer Wiz and none of them has to be. As long as we are using this software I can't remember any time that I would have to wait for Support if I needed it. Of course it does not happen immediately, but the longest I've waited was a little under 3 hours to get the Help I needed.
Over the Period of of more than two years we purchased three Licenses and can not complain. Everything that was promised to us, we got. We can not evaluate other Clients Experiences, but our own Experience and Impression with vidPersonals is that they are willing to go the Extra Mile when it comes to Customer Support - even with time consuming Issues. Thank you and keep it up.
I would not only recommend vidPersonals to anybody, I would probably push my Friends to their Luck.
So Vlad, get ready you will get busy...
Bad Advertising Practice

Vldpersonals is not ready for mainstream. I purchased the product, based on the company's requirements (on its website), and my hosting company spent 2 days trying to get the darn thing working. Vldpersonals refuses to SPECIFY which IonCube version works with its software. It says "any" version can be used, but when my hosting nor Vldpersonals could not get things going, the company recanted its original statement and said you must use the latest version 5.2. DO NOT PURCHASE before making sure your hosting, which most DO NOT, can accommodate this new software. Commercial license is $199 -- not small pennies. Vldpersonals has bad advertisement and business practices. Make them direct you to a hosting company that handles their product beside vldpersonals. They cannot do it. As a matter of fact, I could not find one company that host vldpersonal software.

First of all there's no ioncube version 5.2, the latest one is 4.x Secondly if your hosting company is unable to assist you with something, why blame us and not them? And lastly, almost any web hosting provider out there meets necessary requirements, after all thousands of webmasters who use vldPersonals are hosted somewhere right? And finally - we offer 6 months of FREE hosting with no strings attached if you "can't find the hosting provider" or simply want to save on costs while starting out.
Fast and super service as well as super software.

I have three licenses & three sites, and have used the software and support service since medio 2007. If I needed any help to technical or customizing support, the staff from vldPersonals have always been very helpful, and this within a few hours after I contacted them. Also in weekends! And also even though it's been years since I bought the software, they use time and energi to help me. Last time I needed help was because my hosting did a change that didn't work with the software - but although it was found not to be a deficiency or defect in the software, Vlad himself, made an adjustment to a file without requiring payment for the help.
I think I'll never say any bad about vldPersonals, because if I find anything wrong, I just write them, they help finding out a solution, and they do what must be done.

I have been using vldPersonals last 2 years. I am NOT happy with this for two reasons.
First: I have over 300K members and this software is extremely slow. I lost my previous revenue from adsense becuase page renders so slow and I lost my users. This problem is not from my server. I have the state of the art server with 4G memory and super fast.
Second reason: They lie in their website. It reads you will get "Unencrypted Files". That's not true. I have 5 files are encrypted and that blocks me customizing this application.
Now, it's your discretion to make decision here.

I don't quite understand how you state that we "lie" about something and then you post a link where our "lies" are very well explained on our own website?! Your review is not verified and you failed to provide a link to your site with "supposedly" 300K members so you probably don't even have one. And not that it matters, but someone who calls a server with 4gb memory state of the art is obviously lacking some basic server knowledge. If you're going to leave negative comments, at least get your facts straight first.

vldPersonals have done an exceptional job at producing a stable package and the support that Vlad gives is great.
Before purchasing vldPersonals, I looked at several competitive packages. I decided on vldPersonals because it is by far the easiest to customise and is nearly 100% open source.

Vld personals is one of the best programs I've purchased barnone. Not only does it do exactly what I want it to do, the customization options are only limited by my imagination(and coding skills). I say to you �if you can find a better dating script buy it�

This product worked perfectly just "out of box". We needed a match making solution that supports custom profile fields. This product met our requirements and more. The customer support is the best I have seen for this type of product. They helped me to install and customize the product and helped me to do the migration from my old match making system. Another plus is that you get free upgrades. They come with automatic wizards which makes the upgrade process very easy.
