I tried amember, omni secure, and membergate. Password protector sd was the best of the bunch. The control panel is fantastic, the feature set is rich, and the support is friendly and knowledgeable (support, if you could get it, was horrible with amember and omni secure).

I recommend Ascad Networks for its exceptional service and dedicated commitment to its products. Password Protector SD is an excellent product with outstanding features. It is more than I asked for and the best part is that it is so cheap. You will not get service, quality and product this good anywhere else.
Couldn't function without it

My website couldn't function without this software. It handles my memberships, recurring billing for those memberships, and emailing marketing to name a few things. This is top notch software that everyone offering digital subscriptions needs to have.

I'll start by saying that our company searched for over 3 months before we settled on Password Protector SD. The notion that security software could perfectly fit what we were trying to do seemed foreign. Well, it was with all of them. However, at least with Password Protector SD our package (Profession) came with custom programming. So their programmers had it customized within 2 days and the software worked fine. It continues to work very well to this day and for that reason I'd recommend it.

I purchased the professional version of the password protector for my company in September. I've now been using it for 4 months and highly recommend it. The UI is above average. It is clear that logic was employed when designing the control panel.
The program was installed in under 1 hour after we purchased and our custom programming was completed shortly after. The support that Ascad Networks provided was superb. For that alone I'd recommend this product.
Overall, a very easy recommendation.

There isn't much negative about this program. Overall, the only downfault is perhaps the owner's manual, which is more analytical than user-friendly. It ends there though--because the program IS VERY user-friendly. So much that I hardly use the manual anyway. The layout is logical and the features are all well designed. A lot of thought went into this program and it comes through in the ease of use. Compared to its competition, Password Protector SD is light-years ahead. Very much recommended!

I needed my API integrated with this software but my web host was having problems making CURL work on their server. Jon from Ascad not only called my web host personally to ensure that they get it working, but he consistently communicated with both me and them until it was setup. Support like this is impossible to come by these day and hard to describe with just a short review. The product is great too - it integrated with my API and has worked flawlessly since. Five stars!!

I'll start by saying that I moved over from another piece of password protection software to Password Protector SD because I couldn't stand the poor support and unprofessional look of their software. Password Protector SD solved these issued. The software is easy to use, with built-in owner's manual right there on the control panel - that really helps less experienced users like myself. On top of that, their support was so responsive that I felt like sending them a cookie basket!! Recommend!

Overall, the best piece of member management software that I came across on my search. I looked into all the big names on Hotscripts. Most were good, but all seemed to lack a comprehensive set of features. Granted Password Protector SD doesn't have everything I might need, but it does the trick very well, and for that I give it a 5 out of 5. It is user-friendly and well designed, plus the support is fast and responsive.
