You misunderstood something. There is no need for purchasing any third-party software. FileRun uses "ionCube PHP extension" which is a free PHP extension, not "ionCube Encoder" ;)
Great Product for Web Based Storage

This is a very mature and complete product for private and business use. We use it since 2010 in a shared hosting environment (no dedicated server necessary).
We use FileRun for sharing and receiving large files and for collaboration with partners and clients. It integrates very well in our environment including FileLink for Thunderbird, notifications, user rights management and BitTorrentSync. The product is fully localize-able with many languages already available and has also a mobile view for smart-phones.
We are very satisfied with the fast and competent support. Feature suggestions are always welcome and mostly realized.
The product has a very good development path with a static flow of new features. I really can recommend it.
Top Notch software at a fraction of what its worth.

Having run Enterprise Program and Initiative Management for a fortune 500 company, I am in amazement as to how we used to pay 400 times as much for a system that wasn't even close to being as efficient, bug free, feature rich, flexible, modular and scalable as FileRun is. The user experience simply blows me away. I may sound a little too enthusiastic, but trust me, if you tried it you would be too. Not to mention that their response time for support was under 10 minutes, and it was in clear, concise English. I wholeheartedly nominate them for developers of the year. Bravo!

Now using FileRun on two critical client's business sites and they love it. As a developer of 15 years, it is nice to find a file management application that does all a client wants and more... AND that does not cost a fortune. I will continue to highly recommend FileRun to my clients that need a high quality file management system. One that works great for them, and their customers... and is not a pain for me to install or adjust for them. TribalPictures

Some fun and games installing this but it all worked in the end. Support is good, but seems rather tardy of a morning - but when they do respond, they are completely factual and accurate.
Warning: won't work on PHP 5.3+ because of the reliance on Zend Optimizer. This was very nearly a show-stopper for us.
Other than this, and a few permissions related glitches (update your docs, FileRun!) it's a very nice little product that so far works exactly as required. Your very own personal DropBox with no filesize limitations or furthers fees!
