AdQuick 2.6 looks good but the backend is really bad. Passwords are not encrypted, no catcha (or any other anti-spam) at login. Very bad security, and you have to keep in mind that you'll be dealing with peoples money, you should have security at a very high priority.
And, the admininterface is aslo bad, no history of made payments to customers for example.
Contacted support and asked for a refund, I would love to buy it once the issues were fixed, but until then the script is useless. Did'nt receive a response until I opened a dispute with Paypal, they did'nt wanna refund my money.
Would not recommend this to anyone.

Hello. The text alignment issue was down to the number of text ads being displayed in your ad space. Small ads area such as a 468x60 area should really only have 2 or maybe 3 text ads or the ads will get all squashed up and that will cause the ads to look bad. Larger ad spaces such as a 728x90 area can of course have more text ads. Ad views, clicks and impressions are all logged when the stats script is run. this can be done manually or via a cronjob.
Thanks for your feedback. This information has been taken on board and will be used in futures updates if necessary.

Yes, there are issues with this script that require a bit of tweaking. The language file needs an overhaul, mainly but so many features come with this software that I was willing to get my hands dirty. The template system makes modification quite simple for anyone with any html knowledge.
I run a regional advertising site so issues with overblown databases and such are anything that I have experienced just yet.
The few issues (or even just annoyances) I have had with the script were resolved within 48 business hours by the developer. He has been great and responding to my help requests with clear answers and solutions.
I may find a reason to upgrade to a more expensive script at some point in the distant future but for now AdQuick has keep me happy.

This script is a nightmare, stay away. I bought it and spent a lot of resources skinning it. Now I find that people are inserting massive amounts of fake user account both into the database. They started with the pending members and have now mastered inserting themselves as approved members. So much fake data was inserted that my server went down.

Not worth the money...

Been using it for a while now and it is good to handle small websites without much traffic.
Alot of these reviews ignore a couple of MAJOR things about this script that you should consider.
a) This script creates a new entry in your SQL for every single impression any of your publisher websites gets. In my case that's 10000 new entries into my SQL every day. It is huge and needs to be emptied once in a while. Inefficient.
b) While support does help you from time to time if you have a question, the script is just not maintained as much as something which you are putting so much liability into, you literally are handling potentially $1000's of dollars of OPM (other peoples money) on the line with this script with no tech on site or even remotely able to fix something when something goes wrong.
c) No joke, I have never been able to get an SWF to work right with the script. I thought it was me, but I've had a few other people come along looking forward to using SWF's but end up cursing me out because of this script's promising such but flash banners are totally not able to be clicked.
d) Despite what others say about this Smarty Template Design, I find Adquick the hardest thing I've ever tried to modify the skin to, EVER, forget Joomla, forget Wordpress designing, this is extremely difficult if you are not a literal wizard at CSS.
Adquick is an excellent idea, obviously planned and put much thought into, but the execution is just not there and I can not provide serious advertising packages to clients anymore using this script.

We appreciate your feedback, all of which has been taken on board. version 2.3 is very close to being released and this will improve the scripts performance and then after that version 3.0 will be released. every single adquick owner will get these updates for free. verion 3.0 is being re-written from top to bottom, and will be almost like a new product. sql optimisation in this update is a major thing for us and you will see a huge difference.

When we first inquired about buying this software and immediately after making the purchase we got replies back from the developer in what I consider a decent turnaround - within 24 hours most of the time. That's fair to me when dealing with smaller software vendors who must support customers from around the globe. It goes with the territory that you won't get instant fixes or answers to issues when dealing with smaller companies like this. With that said, since those initial days it has been difficult if not impossible to get questions answered when features do not work properly. Instead of addressing the issues the developer (I suppose this is "Phil") replies by basically saying the no-working features SHOULD work. Well... yes. I get that. Advertised features of the software SHOULD work but when they do not then fixing the issues should be the proper course of action. Now, on the other hand, development of this software seems to be constant, even when SOME of the bugs are not addressed and resolved. The developer must be given credit for this. Our issue is, when a problem cannot be resolved at the moment we would at least like the courtesy from the vendor to inform us that a fix is not a priority at the moment (even though fixes to some of these issues SHOULD be a priority) or... AT LEAST a response to questions we have asked multiple times in email.
For instance, I have emailed the developer on 3 separate occasions about the same issue and in the first 2 replies he ignored 2 of my 3 questions. To make things worse, I have asked for my copy of a most recent update (which was released 30 days ago) that fixes a major security hole and after providing my license number (as requested by the vendor who SHOULD have this info on file anyway) I have yet to receive the updated version. So, basically, my site sits online with important features still inoperable and I cannot take the chance on advertising for fear of being attacked via a widely known security flaw.
Lastly, as a paying customer I would think the developer would inform me and other customers via email when a major update that fixes such issues was released. Nope. I only found out there was a new version available after I visited the software's site in hopes of getting support for the issues we were having with our site.
Anyway, this software has GREAT potential but it feels like it's a one-man show that really needs the attention of a dedicated support and development team. If this isn't feasible then the software really should advertise features that don't all work properly or "Free Installation + Free Updates & Support For Life".
Close to a HIT but I'm feeling like this was an quite expensive MISS.
-----
11.07.09 - In all fairness to the developer I must state that I DID determine last night one of the issues I was having was a result of my own server configuration. But, as of now, the other issues remain and I still have yet to receive my update to patch the security holes.
