Say goodbye to ugly Windows popups! In IE4 and later, this cut-and-paste script launches a popup window without the Windows frame or titlebar (that is, a "containerless" window). In other browsers, it launches a standard popup window. Position, width, and height are settable. Automatic closing of the window on leaving the page may also be optionally set. <b>Update:</b> ; Added an addendum showing how to simply auto-center the window on the screen.
Its a very cool script
not XP is the problem...

this script is great, but works only in IE4+ to IE5.5 max! IE6 switches to fullscreen mode.
Does NOT work in newer versions

This WAS a cool trick until Microsoft realised that their "fullscreen" feature can be tricked and anyone can mate frameless windows.
On IE 6 if the user has SP1 installed the script does not work properly. It just makes a fullscreen window without resizeing it to the desiered dimms.
i used this scrit long time ago but i had to remove it because i got many complains lately when more and more visitors have installed the SP 1.
i guess we gonna have to take this as another Microsoft "DUD" because they "FIXED" a bug that was actualy working great.
i wrote this review for those who want to use this script so they will be advised about the "bug" and to save them some debuging time :))
so i had to rate this one as fair. (sorry)

Problem in Windows XP

The problem is that when I try to open it in any IE browser in a Windows XP OS, it opens up in a full screen !
Any solutions for this or any settings needed in Windows XP, works fine in Windows 2000(opens up with the right size and shows up the outer frame too). Please reply to : [email protected]
Thanks
