Maturity

I've been following the evolution of PHP Coder for some time and have seen it grow from a difficult but useful tool. This latest release brings it to full maturity. I'm sure there are a few bugs lurking and there are minor things that I wold prefer to be different. But the main stuff: YES! It is currently the best php ide available and I have looked at them all. Full debugging with breakpoints, watches, and stepping in and out. And now even profiling! It's weakest point is lack of help files. 5 stars.
PHPCoder is a fair coder

I tried PHP Coder many times and was unable to get it working stable.
It simply crashes, many times a day. I even lost some files. I wonder who can live with it ?
I hope Maguma will improve phpcoder-based Maguma Studio, otherwise...
Interestingly enough, PHPCoder works with the same debugger core (dbg) as for example PHPEd does, but they work very differently.
In 10-20% cases PHPCoder simply fails to start debug session. It does not show anything if script being debugged contains any parse error (compile-time), while PHPEd shows everything ok and points out troubled line immediately. That's cool. At least saves my time.

I had been debugging for days and with its easy syntax highlighting I found that damned misplaced quotation in under 2 minutes! It is a great program for all levels of PHP programmers and best of all, its free :)
