XML4C consists of three shared libraries (two code and one data) that provide classes for parsing, generating, manipulating, and validating XML documents. XML4C is faithful to the XML 1.0 Recommendation and associated standards (DOM 1.0, SAX 1.0, DOM 2.0, SAX 2.0, Namespaces). PortingManager is a PERL and PERL/Tk script that provides assistance when porting C and C++ Solaris applications to Linux platforms, including zSeries Linux PortingManager scans a user-selected source code directory tree. The scanner then checks each line and flags those that would create a potential porting problem. Lines that are flagged are then copied into a "portout" file. The GUI displays the results of the scan for editing.

STLFilt is a set of tools to shorten the length of STL-related error messages produced by various C++ compilers. All standard and hash-based STL containers are supported for the MSVC 6/7 compiler (native, Dinkum or STLport libraries),gcc 2/3, Borland 5.5.1, Comeau, Intel, EDG and Metrowerks CodeWarrior 7/8.
